While facilitating social progress, modern civilization also stimulates human beings’ irrational material desire and damages our living environment. This painting was created with inspiration from the Greek legend of the Trojan Horse which represents unsuspecting danger in Western countries. In this painting, the bizarre image of the horse composed by a pile of books has come to us, eroding and destroying our land. It intrigues profound thinking on the dual characteristics of modern civilization and scientific development.
